Honesty, Transparency, Open Doors!

That is what we strive for as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit. You work hard for your money and we want each donor to feel comfortable that safety measures are in place to protect your tax-deductible donation. Our goal is to see as close to 100% of donations directly impacting the lives of hurting Soldiers and Airmen.

Protecting Your Donation

Internal Controls

Year to date, the CONG Foundation has a 4.34% expense ratio. What does that mean? Nearly 96 cents of every dollar goes directly to assist hurting Service Members and their Families. We rely completely on volunteers to review applications, process loans/grants and donate time for serving on our board of directors.

We understand that there are hundreds of worthy 501 (c) (3) organizations serving for the common good, and we take very seriously the responsibility of protecting your donation to ensure that THE MOST GOOD is accomplished with every tax-deductible dollar given:

  • We pay an outside professional accounting firm in Colorado Springs, CO to review our books each month to ensure compliance for every transaction and to alert our leadership of any concerns.
  • No member of the board or emergency approving committee is given access to funds as those with signing privileges are volunteers approved by the board but outside of approving authority.
  • We review our financials as a board at every quarterly meeting ensuring that we continue to have an ethical and open environment to continue building trust with out donors.
Any further questions regarding “where your donation goes” can be directed to our chair – Lieutenant Colonel Ashkan Angha at ashkan.angha.mil@mail.mil.
